Kevin Douglas Moles

Kevin Moles has passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2011.

He was born March 20, 1956, in Kansas City, KS. In June of 1963, Kevin and his family moved to California and settled in Sunnyvale.

Kevin was best known in his professional life for his influence in real estate. It began in 1974 where Kevin obtained his real estate license alongside brother Bob. In 1976, when he was a sophomore in college, Kevin joined VIP Realtors, founded by his father Bill Moles. Upon graduating college in 1978, Kevin then moved to Contempo Realty.

In 1983, Kevin created a real estate company in Morgan Hill from scratch. Through his unbelievable charisma and compassion, his company became the #1 office for an entire quarter century.

Kevin later created the first office of Intero Real Estate Services in late 2002. Through his ambition and his uncanny ability to create a tight knit culture and family atmosphere wherever he managed, Kevin inspired an entire real estate office from agents and employees to pick up their businesses and place trust in a new company. Kevin, one of the original Founders of Intero served as Vice President & Managing Officer of Intero Morgan Hill until recently.

Regardless of the company’s brand name, Kevin managed and operated his office with a thoughtful intelligence and honest approach – he was smart, funny, resourceful, and tuned in. He had a larger than life personality and was a rebel with quiet strength that encouraged others to stand taller.

Kevin was a loyal friend and business partner, and he engendered a unique loyalty from his agents. He led with his own brand of compassionate, cowboy management.

One of the admired characteristics of Kevin was his natural strength. He was a thinker and a student of human nature who enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, cars and music.

Devoted father to his two sons, Brandon Moles and Taylor Moles. Cherished son to Frieda Moles and brother to Bob Moles. Kevin will be remembered and missed.

Friends and family are invited to the Celebration of Life, Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center: 17000 Monterey Rd.

Morgan Hill, CA 95037. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Intero Foundation.
