Gilroy – This time Gilroy couldn’t overcome a lack of numbers.

With only 12 players available, the Mustangs couldn’t keep up with Presentation and dropped a 5-0 girls’ soccer decision Friday at Garcia-Elder Complex.

“We did a good job offensively with our attacking and pressing,” GHS coach Jose Hernandez said. “There are definite areas we need to work on, though.”

The Panthers raced to a 4-0 lead at halftime as they gained their fourth win in five decisions. Gilroy is 1-2 on the season.
