Murphy tallies 23 points in 77-52 loss
LOS ALTOS HILLS – Despite a 23-point effort from sophomore Sabrina Murphy, the Lady Rams basketball team came up short on Friday night, losing to host Foothill College by a 77-52 spread.
“I was proud of our effort and how the ladies fought ’til the finish,” said first-year head coach Mike Girardi, whose squad trailed by 17 at halftime.
Gavilan is now 11-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play. Foothill is 17-10 for the season and 8-0 in conference.
Up next, the Lady Rams will play their final home game of the season on Wednesday, February 18, at 7 p.m. against DeAnza College.
