Larry Joe Marburger passed away at the Palo Alto VA on July 15, 2012 at the age of 74. Larry is survived by his loving wife Terry Marburger, Step sons Anthony (Melanie) Anastasi (children: Alexa, Nickolas & Ryan) & Sully Anastasi (children: Justine, Kimberly & Izabella), Sister Darla (James) Rusell, (children: Randy, Holly (Mike), Donald) & Bette Duz (children: Sheila (Steve) & Kyle) and numerous other family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ruth Marburger & daughter Teri. Larry served his country, proudly, in the United States Air Force for 13 years. During his military service he served his country in Vietnam. Larry’s happiest times were spent traveling with Terry, fishing, enjoying the time he spent with his grandchildren and family. Larry will be missed by all who had a chance to be part of his life.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the San Juan Bautista VFW hall on Tuesday July 24, 2012 @ 12:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the San Juan Bautista VFW Post 6359 in memory of Larry Marburger.
