Dear Editor,
So, Alvin Harrison, a poster child for young athletes and a Olympic gold medal winner, was hired to coach track at Gilroy High School AND transport our precious youth. SOMEONE hired him and did NOT EVEN LOOK at his driver’s license. Keep in mind he is going to transport students.
My grandson’s first job was to deliver pizza, yes I said pizza, and he was required to show a Department of Motor Vehicles print out of his driving record. Whoever hired Alvin did not even check his driver’s license – which, by the way, was suspended, when he was hired. This is unbelievable.
What are these people hired to do and why don’t they do their job correctly. The District should be ashamed!! for not looking out for our youth. Whoever helped with Alvin’s application and hired him should be in the unemployment line with Alvin before the end of this month!
Can you hear me now? I am furious! I am fed up (and I am not the only one), with people who do not do their jobs correctly. Look at the news, we have Congress, (some, in Wisconsin, running away like children) airline pilots, air traffic controllers, nurses, teachers, and even our president (traveling when he should be in D.C) NOT DOING THE JOBS THEY WERE HIRED TO DO.
DO THE JOB YOU WERE HIRED TO DO OR GET OUT AND LET SOMEONE WHO WANTS THE JOB, HAVE IT.
