I enjoyed reading your 2021 Holiday Poem…but how could you forget to include the one and only large event that happened this year: Gilroy Rodeo.
The Gilroy Rodeo was a much-needed and fun event, enjoyed by returning attendees, as well as many first-time attendees. This non-profit event was held back in August 2021 and is possible because of many volunteers donating their time, under the direction of Erik Martin and the Gilroy Rodeo Board of Directors. The goal of the Gilroy Rodeo is to give all profits from the Rodeo to non-profit youth organizations and groups. This was a great opportunity for youths to earn volunteer hours and raise money for their organizations.
Hopefully you will include the Gilroy Rodeo in any future Annual Holiday Poems.
