Linda L. Strahl died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 in Palo Alto at
the age of 63.
Linda L. Strahl died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 in Palo Alto at the age of 63.
She was born in Whittier and raised in Whittier, Santa Monica and Gilroy. She attended Whittier College and graduated from Mills College. Linda was employed by Swett-Crawford Insurance Co. in San Francisco. She was an avid 49er fan who was passionate about politics and loved antiquing, traveling, cooking and making beautiful flower arrangements for her friends. At the time of her death she was surrounded by family and a close knit group of very supportive friends.
A resident of Oakland, she is survived by her sisters, Ona Driscoll of Soquel, Shirley Rosenberg of Portola Valley, Susan Filice of San Jose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louise and Don Strahl and her sister Christine.
