Summer classes registration fair
Gilroy – The Community Services Department’s registration fair is Saturday, from 10am to 1pm at the Gym & Multi-Purpose Room, Solorsano Middle School, 7121 Grenache Way. This is an opportunity to learn about summer classes and camps for adults and youth. Attendees also will be able to register early for all classes including aquatics and camps.

Gilroy Chaos tryouts Sunday
Gilroy – Girls Fast-Pitch Softball are holding their 2006 season tryouts for their 10 and under and 12 and under teams Sunday, at the Gilroy High School junior varsity field. Times: 10U 1 to 2pm; 12U 2 to 3pm.

Workshop helps landlords
Gilroy – A free workshop to educate rental housing landlords and property managers of their responsibility to provide and maintain safe crime free rental units.
The workshop will be held Tuesday, from 5:30 to 8:30pm at the Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna St.

Time for seniors to ‘Swing into Spring’
Gilroy – The Gilroy Youth Commission and the Morgan Hill Youth Advisory Committee present “Swing into Spring,” a senior citizens ball to help build community through the generations. The event takes place from 5 to 9pm, today at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 1700 Monterey Road. It includes Bingo, pasta dinner, raffle prizes and shuttles will be available from the senior centers to the Community Center. Tickets are $2 and are available at the Gilroy Senior Center, at Gilroy Community Services Department, and the Morgan Hill YMCA Senior Center, and at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center.
