Attendees will be treated to live music from the Corvairs, hors d’oeuvres and dinner from Mama Mia’s Ristorante Italiano, all at the Fortino Winery venue.

Go Kids, Inc. a United Way agency, serves about 1,400 children at its nine Santa Clara and Santa Cruz county centers. About 185 children receive services at both the Gilroy Center and at the Ochoa Migrant Camp.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Go Kids LIFT Scholarship Fund, which helps bridge the funding gap for families who no longer qualify for state assistance for the program. Families receive six months of tuition assistance courtesy of the scholarship.

Last year, the nonprofit netted $5,000 from the fundraiser. The group also dedicates all $20,000 of its United Ways funds to the scholarship, said Larry Drury, executive director of Go Kids, Inc.
