Valentine’s Day otter tour
Take your sweetheart, friends or family on a nature trip for Valentine’s Day. See the abundance of sea otters taking refuge in Elkhorn Slough this winter. Don’t miss this paradise of wildlife. Two-hour guided tours by boat from Moss Landing. Tours depart at 9:45 a.m. Feb. 14 and 15, 9:15 a.m. Feb. 16, and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17. Reservations required.

Become a Red Cross volunteer
American Red Cross Blood Services volunteer orientation takes place from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Feb. 14. Learn to meet, greet and inform donors at Santa Clara County area blood drives or make deliveries as a volunteer driver. Evening and weekend hours available. Advanced sign-up required.
