The Morgan Hill Gymnastics Club Team started off the season with
a bang at the Golden Gate Classic Beach Blast in Concord on
September 8.

The Morgan Hill Gymnastics Club Team started off the season with a bang at the Golden Gate Classic Beach Blast in Concord on September 8.
The Level-4 Team are all first-time competitors which include, Kaelee Scott and Christina Anderson, who both had a terrific meet.
Morgan Hill swept the vault competition with Madison Mamola placing first, Mikayla Delenia placing second and Meghan Hatch placing third. Delenia also placed second on bars and in the All-Around. Karina Blondin placed fourth in the AA, and Mamola placed eighth in the AA.
Level-5 Team Girls’ Alissa Pham had a strong meet, placing first on vault and fourth in the AA, while Madeline DellaMaggiore had a strong performance placing eighth and Sarah Langerman placed 11th in the AA.
The Level-6 Team Girls’ Karissa Fisher performed great, placing third on the vault, and sixth in the AA. Emma Spoldi had a terrific start as well, placing first on bars and floor, and fourth in the AA.
The following weekend, September 15, the girls team traveled to Sacramento to compete in the Byers Gymnastics River City Classic. The team continued to impress the judges with Level 5’s Pham placing first on beam and fourth in the AA, while DellaMaggiore and Langerman performed well and continue to develop.
Level 6’s Emma Spoldi placed seventh in the AA and Karissa Fisher had another strong performance for their second meet of the season.
