Gilroy – The Loco Boys rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Louie & the Outlaws 6-5 in a key Men’s DD League softball game Tuesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Alex Pena slapped a home run to open the Loco Boys seventh, tying the score. Consecutive singles by Jimmy Castaneda, Bubba Lara and Adam DeLeon netted the winning marker.

The Loco Boys are 4-0 atop the eight-team circuit with a one-game lead over the Dirty Dozen.

DeLeon and Jimmy Castaneda Jr. each managed two Loco Boys hits. Andrew Ornelas went 3-for-4 for the Outlaws.

The Dirty Dozen completed a 21-6 win over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds with a nine-run explosion in the final inning.

Benny Naranjo and Joel Garcia each went 4-for-4 and Art Naranjo and Johnny Andrade each went 4-for-5 as the Dozen remained in pennant contention. Matt Piedmont went 3-for-3 for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

Trevino Brothers Construction rallied past New Hope Community Church 11-9 as Chase Locsin and Cavin Brown hit solo homers in the seventh inning to snap a 9-9 tie.

Matt Corona went 4-for-4 with a triple and John O’Neill provided three hits and two RBI for Trevino Brothers Construction. Ted Tencati went 3-for-4 and Matt Elam stroked two doubles for New Hope Community Church.

No Soup 4 You is 2-2 in DD play after a 15-12 decision over Walton & Sons Masonry.

Dave Vera went 4-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Soup. Joaquin Chacon powered a home run, two doubles and a single, Kurt Gitmed a triple, two doubles and a single for the winners. Eric Wischmann went 3-for-5 for Walton & Sons Masonry, the first-half E champion.

Kluck University clinched at least a tie for the second-half Women’s B League title Tuesday at Las Animas Park with a 15-4 victory over Image & Design Salon & Day Spa-Guy’s Heating.

Jen McBain went 5-for-5, Michelle Barry 4-for-5 as Kluck moved to 4-0 with a two-game lead entering the final two weeks of play. Barb Lemberger cracked a triple and two doubles for Image-Guy’s, the first-half C champion.

Don’s Vending upset first-half champion Williams Dental Lab 9-8 to leave both teams at 2-2.

Vanessa Pena powered two doubles and a single, Brea Vasquez a double and two singles for Don’s Vending. Maureen Hughes went 4-for-4 for Williams Dental Lab.
