Louisa was born June 14, 1914, in San Francisco, CA. She attended San Martin Grammar School, Live Oak High School, and graduated from San Jose State University in 1936. She married Louis Lepera in March, 1939 in Morgan Hill, CA.
Louisa passed away peacefully on January 2, 2012, at the age of 97. She fulfilled her wish to enjoy Christmas Day with her loving husband, Louis and all of her family. She was preceded in death by her dear son, Leonard Lepera and daughter-in-law, Meriel Mura Lepera. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 73 years, Louis Lepera, and her daughter, Pauline Lepera Price of Hollister. She was the adored grandmother of David (Naomi) James, Christine (Bruce) Lamborn, Alexander (Lethicia) Lepera, Michelle Ann Price, and six great-grandchildren: Jonah, Talia, Jack, Lucy, Gabriella, and Louisa. She also leaves behind numerous cousins in Northern Italy.
Louisa’s sense of kindness to others and her gracious smile will remain in the hearts of many forever.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 10:00 A.M., also at Johnson Funeral Home. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 1000 First St., Gilroy, CA.
