Margaret Casey Chabot, age 99, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2009 after an evening of Bridge with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Chabot.
Mrs. Chabot spent most of her life in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Scott County, IN. She had lived in Gilroy for the last two years and enjoyed e-mailing friends and family, Scrabble, Bridge, and caning chairs.
Survivors include her sister, Hilda Casey Lynch, and niece Sue Kruse of Gilroy, two step-daughters, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gilroy Presbyteriean Church.
The family requests no flowers but would welcome donations in her name to charities.
