Margaret (Peg) Hutchinson Cameron passed away peacefully on June 11, 2011, at the age of 96. She was born on April 9, 1915, in Fieldbrook, CA. At the age of three, the family moved to Eureka where she lived until 2006. Since then she has been living in Gilroy with her daughter, Judy, and son-in-law, Gary Owens.
Her loving family and many friends will remember her for her generous spirit and positive attitude. She was a breast cancer survivor for more than 35 years.
Peg is survived by her daughter, Judy Owens (Gary), grandchildren, Derek (Oshi) and Darren (Katrina), great-grandchildren, Justin and Alexis, and her niece, Kay Walker (Edward).
Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 11:00 A.M., at Christ Episcopal Church Chapel in Eureka.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Humboldt Senior Resources Center’s Home Delivered Meals (HDM) program, www.humsenior.org.
