Mark Allan Merriam of Morgan Hill California passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. He was 61 years old. Mark was born in Sacramento and raised in San Jose where he graduated from Leigh High School. Those early years also included summer vacations at the family home on the Puget Sound in Long Branch, Washington where he developed an affection for boating and fishing. He eventually settled in Morgan Hill where he was a 28 year resident raising two sons Michael and Steven. He enjoyed socializing and boating in the Morgan Hill area where he was often referred to by family and friends as Captain Mark. He loved life in Morgan Hill and enjoyed many good times with his family and girlfriend Judy Anderson.
Mark is survived by his two sons Michael Merriam and Steven Merriam, his mother Margie R. Merriam and sister Diana Hudak. He was preceded in death by his father Jack S. Merriam and sister Theresa Merriam.
