Born on April 2, 1919 in Machali, Chile, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gilroy; Past Noble Grand of the Unity Rebekah Lodge of Gilroy, Fidelity Rebekah Lodge #25; Past Noble Grand of Pocahontas, Ogareeta, Chapter 53, Magnolia Chapter #45, Order of Eastern Star, Gilroy; and Past Chaplin of the Gilroy Grange.
Mrs. Moore graduated from The University of Chile as a dietician. She gave lectures in the South Bay, both to expectant mothers and Spanish speaking audiences. She also worked as a lab assistant at U.C. Berkeley.
Mrs. Moore was the wife of the late Paul Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Habing Family Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7999 Miller Avenue, Gilroy. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
