Gilroy – Maui Tacos Dynamite opened the second half of the Men’s BB League schedule with a 6-2 decision over State Farm Insurance Friday at Las Animas Park.

Dynamite pulled into a 2-2 tie in the top of the sixth when Mike Gonzalez Sr., Jeff Johnson and Anthony Gonzalez roped consecutive singles. Dynamite put the game away in the seventh with four runs, led by RBI-singles from Mike Montenegro and Sean Murphy.

Anthony Gonzalez took game scoring honors with a 3-for-4 effort.

Josh Garcia accounted for two of the eight State Farm Insurance runs.

Good Fellas rebounded from a 4-1 deficit after three innings to defeat Dee’z Nutz 15-6.

Rob Flores crunched a three-run home run in the third as Dee’z snapped a 1-1 deadlock. Good Fellas responded with five markers in the fourth, consecutive doubles by Gabe Duenas and Shane Alderete spearheading the rally. Charlie Muro went 4-for-4 with a three-run homer for the winners, Willie Gamboa Sr. singled and tripled for Dee’z Nutz.

Team Talamo opened the Men’s B second half with a 15-12 victory over Craig Avila Bail Bonds Friday at Christmas Hill Park.

Johnny Salgado went 4-for-4 and Danny Pequeno went 3-for-3 for the first-half champion. Thomas Carrillo went 4-for-4 with a homer and Rodney Sakai added a three-run homer for the Bondsmen.

D. A. Wolfe Construction, moved into the B League after a 6-0 first half in BB, opened the second half with a 27-11 nod over Obata Farms.

Benjie Dequin homered twice and Rick Gonzalez homered in a 5-for-5 night for the Builders. Jason Krulee went 3-for-4 for Obata Farms.

Rich Furtado lined a home run, double and single to lead Community Bank past the bomb Squad 12-2 in Men’s D League play at Gavilan Sports Park. Lam Nguyen went 2-for-3 and scored once for the bomb Squad.

Danny Rubio went 4-for-4 and Julian Alessi stroked a home run, triple and single as Blackout Window Tinting tripped Team HJ-FX 15-5. Mike Kachel drove in three Team HJ-FX runs with a home run and double.

Bruce Hanna, Marco Delgado and Greg Gilliam each managed four hits as Fritter-Schulz Physical Therapy-Pizza N Stuff defeated Ellite Barbers and Hair Stylists 21-17. Greg Lucio went 4-for-5 for Ellite Barbers.

Nicole Villarreal and Luis Fumagalli each drilled three hits as Frame Your Family In Eyewear opened the second half of the Co-Rec C League with an 8-5 win over South County Hammers at Las Animas Sunday.

Cesar Lopez drove in three Hammer runs with a double and single.

Noel Arce went 4-for-4 and Shaleen Moreno went 3-for-3 in a 22-7 Ball Hoggs victory over Spirit of MH. Rod Rutledge lashed a two-run double for the Spirit.

Mark Logan’s two-run home run in the final inning sparked a four-run rally to lift State Farm Insurance Big Kahunas past the Ballers 21-17. Shawn Cronk homered and Danny Benz scored four runs for the winners. Patty Reyes scored five runs and Ryan Brindle launched a two-run homer in a four-hit effort for the Ballers.
