Park was temporarily closed for repairs
Morgan Hill – The Morgan Hill Skate Park has re-opened recently after being closed twice this year due to damage caused by vandals.

The skate park closed for more than a month in March for repair to the hand rails on the ramp platforms. The hand rails were damaged by vandals. Then the skate park closed again in June when the safety rails were vandalized again after repairs were almost completed.

While the park was closed, additional work was done to repair and replace some of the ramp panels that were in poor condition.

The city spent about $75,000 for the construction of the skate park.

The 8,000-square-foot skate park officially opened in Jan. 2001.
