Mildred Norman, 80, died in Gilroy on Jan. 25, 2004, after a
long illness.

She was born in Paris, Texas, in 1923 to Marion and Eva Ford.

She was an avid baseball fan, especially the Atlanta Braves, she loved spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by daughter Priscilla and (Steve) Charvez; grandchildren Adam and (Eydie) Charvez, Stephanie and (Greg) Jaso; and great grandchildren Lorenzo Jaso, Ariana Jaso and A.J. Charvez, all of Gilroy. She is also survived by her sister Loretta Nickols, of Missouri; sisters-in-law Frances Norman and Irene Norman, of Tennessee; and Dick Brooks, of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by husband James Norman, daughter Charlotte Norman, two brothers and three sisters.

Private Family services have been held under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Gavilan Hills Mem-orial Park, Gilroy.
