Melinda Ashley Mendosa and Rick Dominick Hattaway got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2002 and plan to be married Aug. 21, 2004 at San Juan Mission, with reception following at San Juan Oaks Golf Club.
Melinda is the daughter of Mike and Carmen Mendosa of Gilroy. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Gilroy High School, and is now currently working for the family business, Victoria’s Mexican Restaurant and at Longs Drug Store.
The groom is the son of Rick and Donna Hattaway of Frazier Park in Southern California. He graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1994 and earned his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Woodbury University in Burbank in 1998. He now operates his own business in Gilroy; Malibu Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.
