made statements regarding use of monies in our school district
coffers to compensate teachers.

Recently, Gilroy Unified School District Trustee Jim Rogers and Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services Steve Brinkman made statements regarding use of monies in our school district coffers to compensate teachers.
While the Dispatch may think it a negotiating blunder, I see their candid comments as a good-faith effort in building an atmosphere of trust and positive employer-employee relations. This is a welcome relief to the adversarial climate that often surrounds negotiations. Thank you, Mr. Rogers and Mr. Brinkman.
