Kevin Eichhorn stifled the Mustangs (4-5) for five innings. He is the son of Mark Eichhorn, who pitched for five Major League teams in 11 years before retiring in 1996. Many of his teammates were members of a team that went to the Little League World Series four years ago, noted GHS coach Clint Wheeler.
Lukas Fortino’s fielder’s choice grounder scored Kevin Grove with the only Mustang run.
