Peter Nyland, husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather died peacefully in his sleep on March 5th, 2012, with his wife Clare of 61 years and his family by his side.
Randall “Randy” Evans Cobb October 23, 1943 – March 4, 2012
Randy Cobb of Visalia, CA passed away on March 4, 2012, after a prolonged illness. Born on October 23, 1943 in Hollister, CA, Randy was a retired Quality Engineer in the Aerospace industry. Randy served in the Army and was a proud veteran, enjoyed classic cars, especially his 1966 Mustang.

Santos Haro June 11, 1947 – March 4, 2012
Santos passed away in Hollister at the age of 64. He enjoyed spending time with close friends and was often seen walking his dog around town. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service March 10, 2012 at 12:00 P.M.. at Sacred Heart Church, 680 College St.

Lauren Castro struck out five, walked three and surrendered just one hit in anchoring the Gilroy High softball team's 1-0 victory over Capuchino in nonleague action Tuesday in Gilroy. Not too shabby for her high school debut.

At 36, Kristy Litz has watched most of her girlfriends marry and alight to the suburbs to start families. But marriage is nowhere on Litz's agenda. She wants children, and ideally a partner, but she has seen enough people divorce that she doesn't see the point of walking down the aisle.
