Sheriff: 259 DUI arrests through Christmas

Through the first 10 days of a countywide crackdown, law enforcement officers have arrested 259 individuals on suspicion of driving under the influence, a number far off from last year's pace, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.
