Howard P. Renshaw

Howard P. Renshaw, Sr., 90, went home to be with the Lord and with his son, William Gilbert, who preceded him in death in 1977. Howard is survived by his wife Elma of 67 years. He is also survived by his son, Howard P. Renshaw, Jr., daughters-in-law, Sharon Renshaw and Lee McQuillen, husband Harry; grandchildren Howard P. Renshaw III, Kathryn, and Jeffrey (Brit) and 2 great-grandsons Cooper and Riley.

Valentino Bertao Rocha

ROCHA, Valentino Bertao, 57, born on December 14, 1951, in Santa Barbara, Terceira, Azore Islands, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in San Jose, CA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Maria Rocha. Loving father of Adrian Valentino, Ashley Christina and Alyssa Marie Rocha. Devoted son of Filomena Rocha and the late Manuel Rocha. Dearest brother of Fernando, Maria, Joe, Luis, Albert and the late Filomena and Nilda. Dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorraine C. Freitas

Lorraine C. Freitas passed away at her home in Hollister, Tuesday morning at the age of 79. She was born in Hollister and lived here all her life. She attended local schools and graduated from San Jose State College of Nursing and trained at San Francisco and Santa Monica hospitals. She was a registered nurse, a homemaker and a partner in Freitas Orchards with her husband, Bernie, whom she married, May 26, 1957. Lorraine had worked for Dr. Norman Currie as well as Dr. Robert Quinn in Hollister and finished her career with Dr. Barton and Dr. Joyce in Gilroy.
