Marten (Marty) Parrish
Marty Parrish passed away at his home August 16, 2008 at the age of 60 . He is survived by his father George A. Parrish of Gilroy his brother Jeff and wife Maryann Parrish of Walnut Creek, brother Tony and wife Teri Parrish of Petaluma, sister Heidi Franklin and fiance Richard Araujo of Gilroy and brother Scott Parrish of Salinas. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Donna and mother Mavis M. Parrish.
Adelaide Greco Castello
Adelaide (Adel) G. Castello passed away at 86 Monday afternoon in Hollister. Adel was born and raised in Campbell and moved to Hollister after her marriage to John Castello, Sept. 17, 1944. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Y.L.I., Alter Society, Grandmother's Club and Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary. Adel loved gardening, cooking and for many years worked along with her husband on the family ranch. Adel was predeceased by her husband, John in 1990, her daughter, Diane A. Sewell in 1976 and her son-in-law, Louis Avalli in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Johnette Avalli of Hollister and son, Anthony John Castello of Fresno. Grandmother of Freddie Avalli of Denver, Francesca Avalli of Los Angeles, Lauren Marie Castello, Colin Anthony Castello and Victoria Diane Castello all of Fresno. Sister of Angela Garcia, husband, Pete, of Gilroy, Art Greco, wife, Shirley, of Salinas and the late Anthony Greco and Edna (Al) Losada. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
