Louella M. Cotta
Louella M. Cotta passed away at her Hollister residence August 14th with her daughters at her side. Louella was a native of San Jose, attended Live Oak High School for her freshman and sophomore years and graduated from Gilroy High School upon completion of her junior and senior years. Louella worked as a beautician for over 25 years. She enjoyed social outings with her friends, working in her garden, cooking, and most importantly spending the last four years with her grandchildren Connor and Drew. "She was a wonderful Nana to her grandchildren", said her family. Louella is the daughter of Hazel Aruda of Gilroy and the late Joseph E. Aruda. She is survived by her daughters Tracey Freitas of Hollister and Tiffany Scatena, husband Fred of Hollister. Her twin sister Loretta Birmingham, husband Bert, of Gilroy; niece Kelly Whalen, husband Ted, nephew Jeff Whalen, and grand nephew Dustin Sousa.
