Longtime Hollister resident Jim Horn passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital on July 1st at the age of 77. Jim was a member of Sacred Heart Parish; a member of and a former Officer of the Hollister Lodge No. 1436, B.P.O.E; a member of the SIRS; the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 234 of Castroville; a veteran of the Korean War, and had been a long time member of the former Hollister Dance Club. Jim and his spouse Shirley celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary last October 16th. He and Shirley liked to travel aboard cruise ships to different parts of the world with the Friends Forever Tours, as well as spending time in the out-of-doors fishing with his buddies.
