Board: Choirs may perform in churches through end of school year

A group of parents also gathered to express their frustration that the list of under performing elementary schools was given to parents late and has caused some parents to move their children to Luigi Aprea, the only “performing” elementary school in the district seven weeks after the school year started.
Hollister woman dies in U.S. 101 crash
A 26-year-old Hollister woman died Thursday evening on U.S. 101 in Gilroy after her vehicle hit a guardrail and flipped several times.
Dominguez sentencing, probation postponed
The sentencing has been delayed for the former Gilroy Unified School District Board of Education trustee who plead no contest to two felony counts of grand theft, three counts of perjury and one other count of grand theft.
