The Gilroy Police Department responded to a variety of crimes this week, including sodomy with a person younger than 16, possession of a controlled substance for sale, first-degree burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. Arrests were recorded in this week's GPD blotter from Dec. 2 through 9.

Game Faces at Library

The Gilroy Library hosted its Family Game Day on Saturday, November 21 as part of the American Library Association’s observance of of International Game Day. This event is an annual event for the Gilroy Public Library, which observes the day with other libraries world wide. The library provided hot chocolate and board games for kids and their parents.
