Dozens of drivers took their lowrider vehicles on a cruise through downtown Gilroy on March 26. The drive drew spectators along Monterey Street, snapping photos of the modified vehicles that thrilled onlookers by revving their engines and defying gravity with hydraulic suspension systems.
GPD seeking information on suspects who exposed themselves to El Roble Elementary students
On October 2, 2017, just after 8:00 a.m., a group of students walked by a parked car near El Roble Elementary School, located at 930 Third Street. As they walked by, one of the students looked inside the car and saw a male exposing his genitalia. The students kept walking and no further interaction took place. The incident was not reported until a later time.
