Forward Tyler Kennedy has been sent to the Worchester Sharks for a long-term injury conditioning assignment, the San Jose Sharks announced Monday.Â
Kennedy scored four goals in addition to 13 assists and 34 penalty minutes in 67 games during his first year with the team last season. He joined the Sharks after being acquired via a trade with Pittsburg on June 30, 2013. He was originally selected by the Penguins in the 2004 NHL Draft in the fourth round as the 99th overall pick.
