Teri Swan wins ace of month with a net of 27
GILROY – The Gavilan Niners held their March Ace Day on March 25 at the Gavilan Golf Course.
Ace for March was Teri Swan, Morgan Hill, net 27. Second in the first flight was Anita Scuitto, Capitola, net 28. Third was Elaine Rickard, Gilroy, net 30.
First in the second flight was Phyllis Dollar, Morgan Hill, net 32. Second was Joan Webenbauer, Morgan Hill, net 33. Third was Arlene Cardoza, Watsonville, net 34.
Low putts for the day were shared by Carol Narvaez, Morgan Hill, and Nina Kimoto, Watsonville, with 14.
Short course was held on March 12 at Fremont. Elaine Rickard, Gilroy, Teri Swan, Morgan Hill, and Marlene Sherwin, Morgan Hill, placed first in their respective flights.
The Gavilan Niners play each Thursday morning at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy. Tee time is 9 a.m.
