HD Auto Glass-Hard Ninety rallied for eight runs in the top of the seventh inning to shock unbeaten Northbound 11-10 in Men’s BB play Tuesday at Christmas Hill Park.
Glass-Ninety (2-3) combined seven hits with one error and one walk to erase a 10-3 deficit and send Northbound to a 3-1 mark.
Gabriel Hernandez and Jose Mendoza each hit a two-run single in the rally. Raul Gracia’s two-run triple tied the score and Toby Reyes followed with a sacrifice fly.
Gabriel Ponce and Hernandez each logged three hits for the winners. Mike Howe homered and Santos Gutierrez, Johnny Salgado and Danny Pequeno each mustered three hits for Northbound.
Dee’z Nutz moved into second place at 3-2 with a 14-10 victory over NorCal Regulators in nine innings.
Junior Gutierrez roped a two-run double as Dee’z pushed across five runs in the top of the ninth to snap a 9-9. Rich Chavez complete a 4-for-4 night with an RBI-double. Greg Lucio added three hits for the Nutz, Ruben Ramirez, Richie Rodriquez and Gino Martinez four hits each for the 2-2 Regulators.
The Players topped Pacific Coast Bail Bonds 18-3 Tuesday to create a three-team tie for first place in the Men’s DD action at Las Animas Park.
Joe Ojeda homered and Roy Escudero poked three extra-base hits for the 4-1 Players. Jorge Landeros doubled and singled for Pacific Coast.
Feather Haven improved to 4-1 with a 31-13 win over Wicked.
Dave DeCarlo went 4-for-4 and Jessie Nunez and Albert Alosi each homered for the Haven. Brian Fialkowsky hit two doubles and a single for Wicked.
The Titans rallied past Trevino Brothers Construction 25-24 with a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh.
Steve Welch hit a two-out RBI-double to tie the score, then scored on a Vance Lee single.
Jim Reimer went 6-for-6, Lee homered and Craig Courtney scored five runs for the Titans. Matt Corona and Mike Leslie hit Trevino Brothers homers.
Tear Hair FX moved to 4-0 atop the Co-Rec C League Sunday at Las Animas with a 21-3 victory over El Fuego.
Kenny Foreman and Joel Garcia each poked a three-run home run and two doubles for the league leaders. Alicia Martinez and Gilbert Ramirez each went 3-for-3 and scored three FX runs.
Francisco Orosco paced El Fuego by hitting and double and two singles, scoring two runs. Chris Match stroked a solo homer for El Fuego.
The Icy Hotz knocked ifly from the unbeaten rnakks with a 14-10 decision.
Phil Tercero cracked two doubles and two singles for the 3-1 Icy Hotz. Larry Meyer went 3-for-4 and Maureen Duggan provided three hits for the Hotz. Rich Wallace hit for the cycle and scored four runs for 2-1 ifly. Cindy Nilmeyer scored three ifly runs.
Danny Rubio’s grand slam in the seventh inning carried Blackout Window Tinting past Anritsu 14-9.
Terry Smith paced the Blackout offense with three singles and a double. Vince Mitre and Marco Lopez each homered for Anritsu.
