Ogarita “Gari” Garza died Wednesday, Nov. 29. 2004 in San Jose. She was 50.
Born in Detroit, Mich., she lived in San Jose before moving to Hollister 27 years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Hollister and worked for the Santa Clara County Office of Education for 26 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and baking.
She is survived by her brother and sisters, Orlando Garza of Groveland, Belinda Garza de Zambrano of Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Maria Ines Garza de Garcia of Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and Deia Garza de Gonzalez of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services and the reading of the Rosary will be held at 7pm, Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Cremation will be followed by interment in Trevino, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
