Olga Cooper, a 47-year resident of Gilroy, died peacefully of
natural causes at the age of 88 on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.
Olga Cooper, a 47-year resident of Gilroy, died peacefully of natural causes at the age of 88 on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.
Her many activities included, AFS, 4-H leader, Sunshine Circle of the Presbyterian Women, University Women, and F.R.F.G. Book Club. Her hobby was music, and she played piano and organ at local churches and other venues. Her love of music, world travels, friends and family were her joys in life.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Gardner and son-in-law Francis Gardner of Alberta, Canada; son, Gary Cooper and daughter-in-law Becky Cooper of Gilroy; grandchildren, Bruce, Erin, and Laura Cooper of Gilroy, Ian, Marshall, and Sarah Gardner of Alberta Canada, and Jaime and Kevin Cooper of San Diego.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Cooper; son, Paul Cooper; brother, Robert Brydon; and sister, Nora Ogren.
Burial will be private. A memorial service will be announced.
