This five-week program is designed for the new golfer. Coyote Creek’s award–winning PGA Instructors will provide you with the proper fundamentals to get you started in enjoying the game of golf.

Course Outline:

• Short game: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Bunker Play

• Before you Swing: Pre-Shot Routine, Grip, Stance, Posture, Ball Position, Alignment

• Full Swing Fundamentals: With some Video Analysis

• Course Management: On Course Management, Rules & Etiquette

Saturday dates:

Session 1: April 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14 11-12:30pm

Session 2: May 28; June 4, 11,18, 25 11-12:30pm

Tuesday evening dates:

Session 3: May 17, 24, 31; June 7,14 6-7:30pm

Class Fee: $150 per person

Included: Five 90-minute classes

Gavilan Niners March Ace Day

Opal Imprescia of Gilroy was the ace of the Gavilan Niners March Ace Day with a net 32. Marlene Sherwin (net 36) of Morgan Hill took second and Anita Scuitto (net 38) of Capitola took third. These three golfers also claimed first, second and third in the Ham Shoot. Low putts went to Morgan Hill’s Bobbi Bentley with 17.

The Gavilan Niners play every Thursday morning at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy. Tee time is 9am.
