The Instructional Basketball League is now accepting
applications for boys and girls ages 8-14 and of all skill levels
who are interested in learning the fundamentals of the game. The
sessions will run Sunday afternoons from April 3- May 8 and will be
held at Gilroy High School.

The Instructional Basketball League is now accepting applications for boys and girls ages 8-14 and of all skill levels who are interested in learning the fundamentals of the game. The sessions will run Sunday afternoons from April 3- May 8 and will be held at Gilroy High School. Participants will be lead by high school coaches and varsity players. Sessions run for an hour-and-a-half, divided between instruction and competition. The cost is $125 per participant and checks should be made payable to Bud Ogden IBL and include the child’s name. Players receive tee-shirts and shorts.

Former ‘Stang named to CCB Hall
Former GHS basketball star Rae-Anne Yip will be named to the Community College basketball hall of fame this weekend in San Diego. There’s the CC tourney finals and an induction ceremony. Yip played at Foothill College under Coach Gina Johnson, who nominated her. Johnson is now at San Joaquin Delta.
Morgan Hill AAUW Wildflower Run
The 22nd annual American Association of University Women (AAUW) Wildflower Run will be held on Sunday, April 17, starting at Live Oak High School, 1505 E. Main Ave. Registration begins at 7:30am. The 2K kids’ run (12 and under) starts off at 8:30am. The 10K run (USATF certified) will get started at 9am. The 5K run/walk will start at 9:15am.
