the Hit Crew in a battle of unbeatens at Las Animas Park.
GILROY – Pacific Coast Bail Bonds earned sole possession of first place in the Men’s E Softball League Thursday with a 16-7 victory over the Hit Crew in a battle of unbeatens at Las Animas Park.

Josh Torres and Brent Boyd slapped home runs to lift Pacific Coast Bail Bonds to a 3-0 mark. Jake Maslanka hit a lead-off home run and Tyler Maslanka doubled twice for 2-1 Hit Crew.

New Hope Community Church is 3-1 after a 21-16 edging of the Gilroy Honda Pilots.

Trailing 13-10 after six, New Hope pushed across 11 runs in the top of the seventh. Steve Eddy doubled and homered in the New Hope seventh, plating four runs. Patrick Johnson and Steve Quistian delivered New Hope homers. Dion Walker homered and Steve LaFirenza stroked two triples and a single for the Honda Pilots.

South Valley Community Church Sons of Thunder turned a Brian Miller RBI-single into an 18-17 decision over the Borrachos.

Rob Moulden went 4-for-4 and Adolfo Tellez scored four runs for the Sons of Thunder. Rene Sanchez homered and Daniel Garcia went 3-for-3 for the Borrachos.

Team Hair FX shocked VFW Bingo 21-8 in Men’s EE League play Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

George Espinoza and Jim Blean each went 5-for-5 to ignite the Team Hair FX attack. Tony Martinez added two triples. Stephen Jeske collected a double and two singles for VFW Bingo.

Anritsu is 4-0 atop the seven-team league after a 14-3 decision over Bad News Block.

Mike Buettler hit a solo home run and Aaron Miller powered a triple, two doubles and a single for the winners. Korey Lemos went 4-for-4 for Bad News Block.

Tax Systems (3-0) tops the Men’s D League after a 9-5 victory over Bomb Squad Friday.

Daniel Hernandez posted a triple and two singles, while Ryan Velasco went 3-for-4 with two Tax RBI. Cesar Vasquez tripled and doubled for the Squad.

The Hit Men (2-1) rallied past Los Cochinos 12-8 as Doug Weaver lined two doubles and a single. Eddie Adame went 3-for-4 for the losers.

Humboldt Brewing edged Victoria’s Italian Deli 11-7 as Dave Keim Jr. homered and Bruce Hanna stroked a double and two singles. Bobby Galvan singled and doubled, scoring two Deli runs.

RSW Racing tops the Co-Rec C League after a 19-4 decision over El Fuego Sunday.

John Ceballos and Jerry Johnston each scored four RSW runs. Jolene Carrasco and Juan Martinez each doubled and singled for El Fuego.

Art Garcia went 5-for-5 as Out to Play/Pro Electric improved to 2-2 with a 16-7 nod over Anritsu. Jerrica Dexter homered and doubled for Anritsu.

Jason Mesa hit a grand slam and Gilbert Ramirez went 4-for-4 to carry Team Hair FX past the Big Kahunas 19-10. Bria DeLorenzo and Vicki Groppe each collected three Kahunas hits.

Frank Vargas Taxes (4-0) clinched at least a tie for the first-half Co-Rec B title Sunday at Las Animas with an 18-7 victory over Gaeta’s Ballers (2-2).

Danny Rubalcava hit a grand slam and a two-run home run for the winners. Chris Adame went 3-for-3 for Gaeta’s.

Serf Mancera hit for the cycle to highlight a 20-5 Blackout Window Tinting win over Rush Order. Frank Tomasetti hit a two-run single for Rush Order.
