Gilroy native Patricia Helen Blomgren, 55, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 28, 2003, in San Jose.
She was the wife of Edwin Blomgren of San Jose; daughter of John and Mary Jane Green of Gilroy; sister of Sister Bobbi Green PBVM of Gilroy; niece of Bill and Joyce Blake, Bette and Lee Scarper and Deloris Blake all of Gilroy, Joann Zemba of Florida and the late Joe Blake, Casey and Betty Blake, Helen and Harry Corley, Jim and Muriel Green and Lou Zemba; sister-in-law of Ivan and Joann Blomgren of Torrance, Orilla and Garland Mears III of Colorado and Loletta and Don Gillchrist of Colorado. She is also survived by many cousins.
She was born and raised in Gilroy. She graduated from St. Mary School, Gilroy High School and attended Gavilan College. She worked as the chief morning cook at Peralta’s Busy Bee (now The Longhouse Restaurant). She married her husband on June 25, 1983, and moved to San Jose. She managed the Main Street Apartments in Santa Clara for many years.
Funeral Services are today at 7 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Family would appreciate donations to St. Mary School, 7900 Church St., Gilroy, CA 95020.
