Dear Editor,

I will agree that all politicians, at all levels of government and political appointees, do receive much more than deserved but the “average” state/civil servant, (including military), do not!

These benefits must be “bargained for” by most civil servants, and it is not easy!

The difference between rank and file and supervisory is substantial. Check into YOUR LOCAL politicians and administrative personnel, (who are making $100,000 per year). I’m sure you will see a BIG difference in their retirement benefits than the average city worker!
