Sue’s Coffee Free Music Shows

Gilroy – Sue”s Coffee presents several Friday night shows this summer. The are:

– High Voltage, Friday. With revival and some Rolling Stones mixed in, you’ll enjoy a evening of classic rock.

n Kate Pearson, June 29. On tour from Boston, this singer/songwriter sings witty lyrics, plays clever melodies and string arrangements in a folk rock/acoustic style.

Downtown Music Series Continues

Gilroy – Nothing says California summers like great music and balmy evenings. Add historic downtown Gilroy and you have the makings of Fifth Street Live, an evening of music infused with small town charm. Friday is the fourth of 16 weeks of music. Before the music starts come downtown early and visit the open air market beginning at 4pm. The market will feature soap, candles, flowers, baked goods and other offerings. This concert series takes place every Friday evening, from 7 to 9 pm, at Monterey and Fifth streets.

10th Anniversary Children’s Rally

Gilroy – Victory Outreach Gilroy Church is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Children’s Rally, a fun-filled day from 10am to 3:30pm, Saturday at San Ysidro Park. There will be free food, games, prizes and an appearance by Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero.

Learn Water wise Gardening

Gilroy – Join the Master Gardeners at 7pm June 27 at the Gilroy Library, 7387 Rosanna St., for a program on water wise gardening featuring local landscaper Dennis Roath, who has been in the landscaping business for many years and teaches classes. This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
