The Gilroy Browns Pee Wees eked out a narrow 8-6 triumph over Santa Cruz to remain undefeated in Peninsula Pop Warner Division II action Sunday.

Though they do not keep score on the field, the Tiny Mites (ages 5-7) won its contest on Sunday.

With Brendan Doyle at the helm, three different Tiny Mites Browns, Elijah Sepulveda, Braden Clark and Christopher Sepka, registered touchdowns. The Tiny Mites’ defense surrendered just two first downs and created two turnovers.

The Mitey Mites blanked Santa Cruz 30-0 while the Midgets suffered a tough 28-0 loss – their first of the season.

The Junior Pee Wee Browns improved to 3-1 with a 19-6 decision against Santa Cruz.

Kevin Krulee rushed for two scores of 30 and 2-yards and Christian Rodriguez hit paydirt on a 25-yard touchdown.

The Junior Midgets held off a late comeback attempt by Santa Cruz to secure a 32-24 victory. Zachary Almash rushed for scores of 15, 40 and 80-yards.
