GILROY – The Radiator Doctor has a one-game lead in the second-half Co-Rec C League pennant chase after posting a 15-10 victory over DALEO at Gavilan Sports Park.
Radiator shook off a 6-3 deficit after three innings that posting 12 runs in the following three frames. Kiely Sheppard swatted a two-run double in a five-run Doctor fourth inning. Stephanie Johnston doubled home two runs in a three-run fifth. Ryan Rojas provided a two-run single as Radiator Doctor netted four runs in the sixth.
Rojas took team batting honors with three hits. Des Melia scored four Radiator runs.
Rich Furtado and Will Hill poked DALEO home runs. Randy Newton went 3-for-3, Furtado 3-for-4.
Dutchman’s-Big Kahunas moved to 1-1 with an 11-5 decision over Team FX. Rudi Groppe and Spencer Straub each went 4-for-4 for the winners. Shaun Cronk homered and Kristin Rennard went 3-for-5 for Dutchman’s-Big Kahunas. Mose Caballero, Tony Martinez, Gilbert Ramirez and George Smith each managed two hits for Team FX.
Nikki Anagnoston went 3-for-3 to power 2-0 Williams Dental Lab past Krazy Koyotes 12-3 in Women’s B League action Tuesday at Las Animas Park.
Cherie Somavia collected three hits and Annette Romero stroked a single and double for the Lab. Vicki Groppe went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Lynn Nebesnick went 2-for-2 for the Krazy Koyotes.
Cristina Castillo homered in a 3-for-4 effort to help Handmade Healthcare to a 17-6 victory over Don’s Vending.
Yvonne Gaspar doubled and tripled as Handmade erased a 4-2 deifict with a 12-run third inning. Erica Dickens and DJ Simpson each stroked a double and two singles for the winners. Lydia Cano, Celeste Soto and Kathy Van Hoy each went 3-for-4 for Don’s Vending, the first-half C champion.
Victoria’s Restaurant Banditos improved to 2-0 atop the Men’s B league with an 18-2 nod over B&T Farms Tuesday at Christmas Hill Park.
Geno Martinez homered in a 3-for-3 performance for the Banditos. Benny Sanchez and Rich Medellin each clubbed three hits and scored three Banditos runs. Consecutive doubles from Gary Tognetti, Dennis Castro and Gil Barry accounted for two B&T Farms runs in the first inning.
Bike Center-DataMate Accounting joined Victoria’s at 2-0 with an 18-3 win over Lopez Vending Machines. Keith Ball hit two home runs and a double, while Luis Garcia and Alex Garcia added homers for the Bikers. David Jacquez and Mike Orta hit Lopez Vending home runs.
Ruben Ramirez hit three doubles and scored three runs to pace Talamo Foods past Out 2 Bang 15-10. Abel Jacquez hit a triple and two singles for Talamo, the first-half B titlist. Thomas Carrillo and Mike Olguin each managed three hits for Out 2 Bang.
