Born on Sept. 14, 1932, Ramon was a butcher who became a U.S. Citizen in 1978.

He is survived by wife Emma Mora; children Yolanda Irizarry, Rosie Mora, Ricardo Mora and Melissa Dow; five grandchildren; sisters Carmen and Raquel Mora; and brother Rafael Mora.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral service will be held Dec. 9 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco.
