Fastenal snapped a three-game losing streak in Men’s Tuesday E Fall Softball League action at Christmas Hill Park with an 8-3 nod over AJM Plastic Surgery.
Mike Ratcliff went 3 for 3 and Frank Duran produced a pair of RBI-singles. Angel Gamboa went 2 for 3, scoring once and driving in one run for 2-2 AJM Plastic Surgery.
Daniel Vasquez, John Carrillo and Marco Lopez each scored four runs to carry the Loco Boys (4-0) past Inglorious Batters 19-12. Dave Soto went 4 for 4 and Ben Hartshorn homered in a three-hit night for the Batters.
Those Guys followed with a 13-10 edging of Inglorious Batters. Jarred Reeves hit a two-run triple to highlight a six-run fourth inning for the winners. Tommy Muth went 3 for 4 and Matt Elston homered for the Batters (1-3).
No Soup 4 You (4-0) earned a two-game lead in the Tuesday E League standings at Las Animas Park with a 23-8 triumph over RMS. Manny Juarez went 4 for 4 and Johnny Castaneda and Toby Smith each homered for the league leaders. Jimmy Estrada and Moses Guerrero each scored three runs for RMS.
Edgar Castro, Estrada and Guerrero each scored three runs in the 16-13 RMS win over Beer 30 in the doubleheader nightcap. Jorge Montero went 3 for 5 and Kenny Dominick homered for Beer 30. The RMS win left both clubs at 1-3.
Baker Pump went to 2-2 with a 16-13 squeaker over the Assassins. Mike Verrissimo went 4 for 5 with a home run for the Pump. Joe Benavidez and George Palacios each fashioned three hits for the Assassins (2-2).
The Loca Girls defeated Las Frijolitas 10-5 Wednesday in Women’s C League play to leave both teams at 2-2. Giovanna Martin went 3 for 3 and scored three runs for the Loca Girls. Dominique Perez and Chrissy Ivory each scored two Loca runs. Eryca Temores, Annette Ceballos and Cory Tovar each lined an RBI-single for Las Frijolitas.
Cal Silk Screen Printing topped Saint Louise Bruisers 21-0 as Cynthia Garza and Sandy Saenz each went 3 for 3. Jenny Vo and Louise Fry collected singles for the Bruisers.
Corey’s Girls-Heavy’s Grills are 4-0 atop the Women’s B League after a 24-8 decision over Pops’ Gals. Kisaundra Sonnier and Laura Vargas each managed four hits for the winners. Alicia Reese hit a home run and two singles for Pops’ Gals.
Team OMG handed Claddagh its first loss in four Thursday EE games, pushing across nine runs in the final inning to clip the Brew Crew 17-16.
Benny Cortez Jr. roped a three-run triple and Benny Cortez Jr. added a two-run single in the decisive OMG rally. Sergio Landa homered for the 2-2 winners. Rich Gallardo homered and Kevin Belanger went 4 for 4 for Claddagh.
Timmy Rodriguez homered in the sixth inning to help Sustainable Packaging Partners (2-2) by Gilroy Thunder 20-19. Daryle Shupe and George Salgado hit Packaging home runs. Sebastain VanDeren powered a triple and two doubles for Gilroy Thunder.
R&M Transportation (4-0) leads the EE League after a forfeit win over the Sweepers.
Noah rallied past the Lost Boyz 15-12 to reach 4-0 atop the Thursday E standings. Mike Gonzalez homered and Adrian Burciaga and Jacob Alvarez each notched four hits. Tucker Baksa homered and Victor Rodriguez went 3-for-5 and scored three Lost runs.
Isaac Sepulveda’s home run snapped a 6-6 tie as the Gilroy VFW Vets edged Trevino Brothers Construction 7-6. Mike Montenegro hit a two-run homer for the Vets. Mark Guajardo went 3-for-3 and scored two Builder runs.
Mike Pepper’s two-run homer gave C&J Maintenance (3-0) a 12-11 nod over VFW Bingo. Jeff Heck went 3-for-3 for Bingo.
