AG Construction gained sole possession of first place in the Men’s Fall DD Softball League standings Tuesday with a 24-13 victory over Claddagh Brew Crew at Las Animas Park.

Alex Garcia hit two home runs in a 5-for-5, six-RBI effort for AG Construction (4-1). Ricky Gonzalez scored four runs and Zack Orosco homered for the winners. Garrett Bennett and Jose Hernandez each collected three hits for Claddagh Brew Crew (2-3).

Those Guys topped Family First 19-3 to leave both clubs at 3-2 in second place.

Jake Wischmann highlighted a 4-for-5 effort with a grand slam for Those Guys. Tim Graves went 4-for-5 and Ricardo Rascon homered for Those Guys. Cesar Lopez Sr. went 2-for-3 and scored two Family First runs.

Pinocchio’s Pizza moved to 3-2 by trimming Sons of Pitches 8-4. Donny Gooding went 3-for-3 and Joel Garcia scored three runs for Pinocchio’s Pizza. Richard Hernandez scored three runs for Sons of Pitches. Hernandez, Adrian Monroy and Adam DeLeon each finished with two hits for the Pitches.

Kalai Kraze surprised Still Ms. BeHaving 19-14 Wednesday to leave both teams at 3-2 in second place in the Women’s Fall League.

Carissa Kozacek went 4-for-4 and scored four runs to highlight the Kalai Kraze offense. Leslie Miner provided four hits and Yolanda Lomas and Irene Rivera each scored four Kalai Kraze runs. Barb Lemberger went 4-for-5 and Crissy Ivory tripled, doubled and singled for the losers.

Don’t Trip (4-1) turned back Garlic Heat 22-6 as Michelle Barry and Lisa Angulo each netted four hits. Breanna Salgado homered for Garlic Heat.

VFW Bingo upset Feather Haven 14-10 Wednesday to drop the Haven to 4-1 in Men’s D League action at Christmas Hill Park.

Dustin Robinson’s two-run double sparked a seven-run rally for VFW Bingo (3-2) in the fourth inning to take a snap a 5-5 tie. Nick Robinson homered and Julio Zavala provided three hits to the VFW Bingo offense. Brett Scott went 3-for-4 for Feather Haven.

The Borrachos reached 3-2 with a 12-8 edging of Picasso’s Tattoo. Abraham Hernandez and Joey Flores each went 4-for-4 for the Borrachos. Adrian Rodriguez hit two doubles and Nathan Tenorio tripled and singled for Picasso’s Tattoo.

Los Chilotes moved to 3-2 by topping Heinzen Manufacturing 19-16. Juan Contreras delivered two triples and a double for Los Chilotes. Kevin Orozco and Daniel Valdez hit Heinzen home runs.
