Mike Hernandez plated four runs with a home run and two doubles, while Matt Hernandez drove in three with a homer, triple and sacrifice fly. Joel Vaca helped the Vargas Taxes cause with a triple, double and single. Jazmine Perez went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for the winners.

The victory pushed Vargas Taxes to 3-0 and left Just 2 Party at 2-1 in the second-half standings. Bobby Reggiani and Jenny Barboa each went 4-for-4 for the Party.

JR’s Crew, the first-half B champion, improved to 1-2 for the second half with a 16-7 decision over Blackout Window Tinting.

Vanessa Pena lined a three-run double and Paul Garcia scored three runs to highlight the Crew offense. Danny Rubio homered and Carissa Kozacek tripled and singled for Blackout.

IFC-Self Made moved to 2-0 atop the Men’s C League Wednesday with a 9-2 verdict over the Battle Brothers.

Kurt Salter’s three-run home run capped a five-run first inning for IFC-Self Made. Willie Gamboa completed the scoring with a three-run homer in the fifth.

Charlie Duffy and Rob Spalding hit solo homers for Battle Brothers, the first-half CC champion.

The Hitmen are 1-1 after stopping Mountain Mike’s 25-9. Benji Sanchez produced two home runs and two singles for the winners. AJ Martinez went 3-for-4 for Mountain Mike’s.

Jesus Begines stroked two home runs Wednesday as 2-0 Pacific Coast Bail Bonds defeated New Hope Community Church 18-14 in Men’s CC play.

Joel Gaeta added a home run and two doubles to the Bonds offense. Steve Quistian collected two triples and a single for New Hope.

Willis Construction joined the Bondsmen at 2-0 with a 14-9 win over Cosa Nostra. Mike Scardina homered in a three-hit, three-RBI effort for Willis. John Carrillo went 4-for-4 and Juan Arias homered for Cosa Nostra.

Corey’s Girls outlasted Blackout 15-7 to improve to 2-0 in Women’s League competition Wednesday. Corey Casillas homered and Ermalinda Garcia went 5-for-5 for the winners. Linda Figone went 3-for-3 and Anita Garza hit two doubles for Blackout.

Alicia Martinez hit a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to give Kalai Kraze a 9-8 win over All 4 Seasons Pet Services. Dora Olivares hit a three-run double for the winners. Maureen Hughes and Laura Klemba each scored two Pet Services runs.

Vargas Taxes is 2-0 in Men’s BB League play Monday after a 26-11 victory over Shrekky’s Unit. Joel Vaca and Raul Gracia each posted five Taxes hits. Marcus Gaeta hit two Unit doubles.

Clint Minor homered in a 4-for-4 night to guide Team O’Neal-Exteria past Team Talamo 15-14. Steve Martinez went 4-for-4 for the losers.
