Out 2 Play rallied past Team Rush 10-9 Sunday to leave both teams at 3-3 in the Co-Rec Fall Softball League standings at Las Animas Park.
Sandi Saenz and Ben Carrasco hit consecutive two-out, two-run doubles in the sixth inning to lift Out 2 Play to a 9-8 lead. Team Rush pulled even in the top of the seventh when Andrew Mokres doubled and scored on a Craig Martinez single. Art Naranjo singled and scored on a Barb Lemberger single for the deciding run.
Joel Garcia went 3 for 3 for Out 2 Play. Tyler Osbourne homered in a 3 for 4 effort for Team Rush.
Hi-Energy Networks also reached 3-3 with a 16-13 upset of Los Pollos Hermanos. Shawna Snakenberg went 4 for 5 for Hi-Energy. Andy Alarcon lined a triple, double and single for Los Pollos Hermanos.
Harkin Sheedy hit a grand slam to carry R&M Transportation past Sustainable Packaging Partners 24-15 in Thursday EE play.
Josh Dias hit two home runs, Nick Robinson one for the 5-1 winners. Bobby Granados went 5 for 5 and scored three Packaging runs.
Claddagh is also 5-1 atop the six-team league with a 23-1 victory over the Sweepers. Dave Meacham hit for the cycle and Jake Moreno went 4-for-4 for Claddagh. Jason Ramirez went 2-for-3 for the Sweepers.
Noah reached 5-0 in Thursday E action by edging C&J Maintenance 15-10 at Christmas Hill Park.
Isaac Alvarez hit a two-run triple as Noah struck for seven runs in the fourth inning. Don Alvarez Jr. homered and Abraham Burciaga Sr. went 3 for 3 for the winners. Eddie Adame homered and tripled for C&J Maintenance (3-1).
Extreme Air turned back the Lost Boyz 21-11 as Barry Diedrick and John Ashford each mustered four hits. Eddie Vargas homered and Anthony Bravo went 3 for 4 for the Boyz.
The Heathans rallied from an 8-3 deficit to top Trevino Brothers Construction 10-8. Anthony Corral ignited a six-run sixth for the Heathans with a one-out triple. Danny Banderas homered for the winners. Rick Gonzalez and Joe Forestieri each collected three hits for the Builders.
Corey’s Girls-Heavy’s Grill moved to 5-1 atop the Women’s B Division with a 20-5 decision over the Loca Girls. Laura Casillas went 4 for 5 for the winners. Tina Guerrero tripled and singled for the Loca Girls.
Las Frijolitas reached the top spot in the C Division with an 11-0 blanking of Saint Louise Bruisers. Eryka Temores went 4 for 5 for Las Frijolitas. Jenny Brownfield recorded two hits for the Bruisers.
Jasmine Perez hit two doubles and a single to help Cal Silk Screen Printing by Pops’ Gals 11-3. Alicia Reese homered in a 3 for 3 night for Pops’ Gals.
Team TF moved to 4-0 in Wednesday DD play with a 15-7 victory over Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors. Joel Lopez went 4 for 4 and Joel Gaeta and Matt Hernandez provided home runs for Team TF. John Hagins tripled and doubled for Sanchez Floors.
Garlic City Computer & Network reached 4-1 with a 19-15 verdict over the Blacktop Bombers. Chris Wong hit a homer in a 4 for 4 effort and Angel Gamboa scored four runs. Momber Richard Piona homered and Gus Lazrovich hit a double and two singles.
The Borrachos upended the Players-HD Auto Glass 20-14 to leave both teams at 3-2. Armando Franco homered and Danny Melendez hit three extra-base hits for the Borrachos. Mike Radcliff and Israel Vasquez hit Players home runs.
